Others may disagree and they may well be right, I dont honestly know but my study's on soil dont support a run off when using organic nutes.

Dont forget to.dust the roots with Mychorizal fungi mate !! Very important IMO
Top man cheers for that! Good thing I asked the question otherwise 2 weeks in I’d be using soil that would be useless haha!

With the dusting of the roots... do I (when I receive the clones and transplant into bigger pots of my own) take the clone out of the pot that I get it in, and give it a good dusting around the root ball, and in the new hole where it’s going in to, also give that a good coating too?

Soil isn't coco, just like Gaz said running excess water through it really isn't needed
all you are doing is washing away what you need the most

Organic Soil is alive, you feed the soil with organic feeds, the soil feeds the plants after the microbes process it
anything chemical simply kills the soil so you kill the plants,

    that includes salt/chemical based fertilizers

if u wanna use salt/chemical foods try a peat based soil or simply go coco,

    Mon the Gaz!

Not planted clones so cant help really but in thoery some in the soil mixed in with perlite and soil and then a dusting on the roots should be sufficient mate

you want 2 tablespoons of Mychoriza per pot ''30ml''
that's what it says on mine anyways

    mist/moisten then sprinkle generously
don't breath in that fine dust though, it's seriously bad for your health

Yeah I understand soil isn’t coco mate, just used coco and couldn’t get to grips with it.
I was 80% sure you didn’t feed until run off in soil, just needed to make sure before I cocked it all up haha!

Cheers mate, I’ve got my little shopping list at the ready just need to order it now. Il definitely use it though I don’t fancy risking it all simply because I didn’t use this.

ud be surprised how many treat soil just like coco,

i try and avoid the problems to begin with, less complicated that way
    also way cheaper
