    Default Tomatoes muhahaha

I can be subversive and soooooo let's grow some tomatoes.

    Equipment:

    Philozon 1200w and 600w LEDs
1.5x1.5x2m grow tent and 1.2x1.2x2m closet
    Carbon filters and fans
    4L and larger grow pots
    Seed starter cells
    Tomato cages

    Grow medium:

    Peat moss as starter
Fox Farms Happy Frog organic soil
    Coco coir
    Worm castings
Some random leftover potting soil/peat moss mix

    Nutrients:

GS Plant Foods Liquid Kelp and Root Ruckus
    Epsom salt
    Maybe some other stuff later

    Seeds from Ohio Heirloom Seeds

Starting 5 each of beefsteak, roma and Cherokee purple. Will be germinating in damp paper towels, ziploc bags and storing in the cabinet above my grill.

I plan on growing these to giant size indoors and then moving them out in April. One plant of each variety.

The end of February, I will start a few more, of other varieties to give away to coworkers and perhaps a couple more to put outside for myself.

Worm poo on board. Seeds look juicy, but only a couple have wee 1mm roots. Back in the cupboard and check Sunday. I'm planting all that germinate and selecting the best one of each in a couple of weeks or so.

Seeds sprouted and in soil. Only one Cherokee purple sprouted. The rest still look good and are back in the cabinet.

Put basil seeds in 8 starter cells. Oat grass went into a liter pot.

Going to do a couple of eggplant, bell peppers and chili peppers late February.

I have another Cherokee purple sprout. I'm waiting until tomorrow as there appear to be a couple of others about to show root.

I now have multiple seedlings of each tomato variety. Lots of oat grass shoots. No basil, yet. I'm still considering seed options for peppers and eggplant.
