So I've got problems in all of my flowering plants. All are in 1 gallon organic soil mix and have recently started yellowing. Given monthly toppings of worm castings and added kelp last week. Feeding weekly with a tea of molasses/kelp/castings/gypsum/epsom (given twice last week). Weekly foliar of kelp. Daily watering of 16 oz tap water left out for 24hrs.

2 big ones are about 4 months old
    3 small are 2 1/2 ish

Im starting to dislike the color yellow in all forms...

  2. "U can give the yellow ones a bit of a boost of nitrogen which is likely the cause , however in the big ones especially i wouldn?t do anything, as it looks like normal yellowing in late flower.
I?m not organic tho so I don?t know how to get that nitrogen...

I have a feeling the answer is not to use 1 gallon pots if youre going organic with a photo plant.

Well that's certainly a good answer. I went 3 gallon with an auto, but could probably have done 1. That's in coco though. I probably wouldn't do less than 3 for a mature soil grow of any kind. It's the nuke from space just to be sure option.

In any case, kelp has nitrogen. I think the plants are getting ready to be ripe. That's where the yellow comes from. I could very well be wrong.

id flush the soil to remove the salt that has build up,
shouldn't really flush an organic soil but it's the lesser of two evils
then feed and carry on as is,

you got some time left, hopefully you have caught it early enough mate.

Alright gents, thank you all for your input. You've verified my concerns I think. Heres what Ive heard:

The 1 gallon pots are too small for a continuous organic grow and the plants have just about used up their food. N must be upped now.

There are no FAST organic options to replenish N. (The kelp topping wont mulch in time and the tea does not have enough to act as a direct feed.) Re-potting would be too stressful.

The closest to harvest any plant is is 2 weeks. The Sativa is probably 3 and the smaller pots have at least 6 weeks to go. There is no scenario were the smaller plants dont starve to death without intervention.

Result, Rex is shopping for a liquid nitrogen fertilizer.

Correct? And if so any recommendations?
