Due to the unknown angle & height of the camera that took the pic, it's impossible to tell

The angle makes it hard to tell. Would be nice if there was a camera shot lined up to that CG blue line, or from the sideline but to more right of the screen.

But yeah, the player's left forearm and may be hand too are a little too close to the boundary for comfort.

In my mind the only way to be 100% on the offside rule is to have a birds eye view camera.

Also all the players wear GPS vest to track their movements, surely with that info and a birds eye view there is no question. It can't be that hard to sort out either.

No Macky, the ball was played from 8 yards behind the blue line. It just really annoys me when these so called football experts think they have the answer to 100% success and all they really need to do is look a bit harder. It's hard enough changing these things but when it's half hearted in efforts, it will never last the test of time.
