    Default Radiators stopped working

It still gets power, but only when I hold the setting dial between settings (the only way the light comes on). I haven't held it in that position to see if it heats up, worried it would start smoking or something.
It still sounds like the thermostat is doing something if I twist the knob, but no heat obviously.

Anyone know the issue? Trying to avoid having to buy yet another bit of kit.

That the one mate. I'll open it up tomorrow, nothing to lose. Unless there's a broken wire or a melted mess I'll have no idea what to look for. Not that much to em if I remember right... had to open another one after the dog had chewed the cable : /

Is it the dial at the bottom thats your talking about ? so light comes on in between each setting or just one ?

Just noticed also, it has overheat protection...has this possibly kicked in ? dont know much about that particular model but mostly the same internally. Usually a bad/pitted contact on the wiper switch arcing under load and causing unreliable or no contact on each higher setting...In between, its probably just catching the edge of each

Can you not return it for replacement ??

Yeah, the lower dial has setting from 0 to 3. Light only illuminates if I hold it between 0 and 1, or 1 and 2, but not between 2 and 3. Gonna take the dog for a walk and then I'll have a look inside I guess
