    No such thing as a daft question mate. I use soil so I just stick in my garden, roots in the compost bin.

    Am in coco ATM so just thinking how to get rid safely. I know ppl dump them down lanes but think that's the stupidest idea.

    With a good clean, and treatment, coco can be reused mate, no need to throw it away. But if you want to throw it, then just take it down the tip as garden waste.

    If you can get it to the tip, take the dog for a walk and get rid of it a little bit at a time on dog walks, carrier bag a day or something. Use your initiative mate, just dont fly tip it
