    Default Drying

On with drying at the moment, just wondering which stems i should be trying to snap?

Is it stem im hanging or the one in the middle of the bud?

Leaves and outside of bud is crispy and flaking on touch but the stems are still bending

    Cheers guys

All of them mate, the buds should snap off the stem. The smaller ones will come off sooner than the bigger ones.

If you go to remove a bud by breaking it off the stem, and it doesn't snap, it's still too wet for jarring. To much moisture in the bud, will leech back out, wet your terpenes, then the smell and flavour will be gone, or atleast demonised.

Check each buds as the days go by, jar the dry ones, leave the wet ones a little longer, and add them to different jars day by day

Jarred the buds in the shoe box today, stems partially snapping and hygrometers were reading 55 and 59% after a few hours

Took one of each of the stems im hanging of each strain to add to the jars, hoping this will bring abit of moisture back in but still sat at 55 and 59% atm

Will this work or have i to accept the first buds are abit over dry?

Using a lettuce leaf or orange peel are for those people who don't grow take a leaf off one of your plants, add that to the jar, it'll restore moisture and if there is any effect on flavour, it'll be weed lol
