That’s not a trichome that’s a pistol and yes that is normal for them to go from white to red.

They are not trichomes, mate - that's a female calyx - the sex organ.

    Yer all good.

They're pistols mate, trichomes are the thc crystals. Over feeding can cause them to turn orange early.

Do you have a heater in your groom? Is it the plant nearest the heater?

Could be N excess, under-watering, strain pheno...but without a shit-ton more info, you'll never have an answer.

Fill this in and you'll be sorted:

    Soil or hydro or coco:

    Strain:

    Photo or Auto:

    plant age:

    pot size:

has it been repotted? and when?:

    soil type:

nutes or additives used and how often for soil:

    Air temps (max min):

    Res temps (max min):

    humidity:

lighting type and wattage (hps, led, cfl):

    Light schedule:

    ph level:

    EC (hydro and coco only)

    Background EC.

feed schedule and nutes (for hydro and coco)

anything else you think may be relevant!

Not heat stress then. Is there any fans blowing over it? Over than that, as above?
