I read somewhere that in the dark the plant prioritises the water to the roots. I can't remember enough of my biology class now to say either way.

But if the plant was holding onto the waters in the roots, and was not being watered and the lights were off (i.e. no photosynthesis, reduced respiration, lower metabolic rate), I would have thought that she would be a bit droopy which could save a bit of drying time.

There might be some truth to it as my last plant was kept in the dark for 48 hours before chop. The drying has been fairly swift.

She is now revegging like on steroids and I might just hang onto this one bit of anecdotal info!

So I guess everyone just does it because some guy said it was good once? Awesome haha, but glad to hear it probably didn’t affect my buds though (I definitely didn’t notice if it did lmao)

Do you normally feed right to the end with organics?

Makes no difference if you do or don't with organics. It's natural so no chemical taste on the smoke
