Don't buy thw tent and stuff. Buy separately. Honestly you'll be buying twice otherwise.

    Tent, preference.
    1.2×1.2×2 meters needs a decent 6inch rvk. I'd go for the L1

    If you're going to 2×2×# then up to a 8" or a 10", get a controller too.

If you want silence, box it up (vibration carries more)

There's plenty of tents to choose from

That tent looks cheap mate and no detailed info about it. Also I would buy a digital ballast. So dont go with a kit, pay more but pay once

Ok everyone thanks for the advice ill scrap the idea of buying the kit and I'll go buy everything separate. I'll do some searching tonight when I get a chance so I can price things up.

    go for hydro labs tent
    mountain air filter
600w digital dim ballast (omega, sunmaster, lumatek, lumii all decent brands)
i prefer MH bulbs for veg, hps flower bulb for flower, start them under cfl as seedlings/babies, then 400w mh will do till flower, then swap to 600w hps
    parabolic reflector
    fans, RVK will do
    go with airpots

ph pen are bane of me life, had them all from top shelf to bottom lol, essentials is good brand an dont hurt bank much, my bluelab ec truncheon is top stuff though an worth the money

Ok I think I have got a decent list of everything I need and I will be buying bits slowly over the next 2 months or so as and when the funds are available. I'll have to live off baked beans for the next month but it will be worth it in the end as I will have a decent setup. so here goes.

    Mars Hydro 1.2x1.2x2m tent £110
    RVK L1 6 inch fan £75
    Mountain air filter £95
    Ducting £10
    Light timer £9
300 watt cfl + reflector for seedling and early veg £49
    Omega 600W digital ballast + 600w hps bulb £94
400 watt MH bulb for veg £17
    Bluelab ec truncheon £70
    essentials ph meter £37
    ph up and down £16
    canna rhizotonic £15
    Buddhas Tree PK 9/18 £22
    Canna Boost £22
    Canna coco A and B £15
Buddhas Tree Solar Green Power £15
canna coco professional plus 50l £15
    4 x 11 litre air pots £22
    humidity and temp reader £4

Thats all I can be bothered adding to the list for now and the total for all of the above is ~£712 and there is a few more to add to the list. Like I said It's going to take a couple months to buy all of this kit a bit at a time. I'll update the thread as I'm collecting the bits. My first purchase is going to be the tent and CFL light when I get paid Monday.

Let me know if I have missed anything or I'm buying something I don't need and what are your thoughts on this setup?

Shopping list looks good mate. You'll make back the money you save from buying in the 1st grow with that setup and thetalk watching your back.

The only things I see missing are maybe a couple clip on fans, an occilating one perhaps, and if/when needed, a humidifier and dehumidifier.
