    Planting time.
Peanuts require at least 120 frost-free days to reach harvest. Sow peanuts in the garden 3 to 4 weeks after the average last frost date in spring, when the soil has warmed to at least 65°F. To get a head start on the season start peanuts indoor 5 to 8 weeks before transplanting seedlings outdoors.
This is going to be a tight one, even for me down south.

Good thing I didn't soak all of them and saved some for next year.

Good thing you mentioned that about the shade, I was actually thinking these needed full blasting sun. I've got a nice spot under some shade cloth which only blocks about 40% or so.
Will still put a few in full sun as well just to see how they do.
Haven't got any chickens to worry about

The monkey nuts are planted but I won't be posting any pictures because that wouldn't do my privacy any good.
