    Default A scrog question

Still a bit scared of trying non autos but I think when I eventually do, I'd like to try a scrog.

Just wondered if there's any disadvantages to using more than one plant for it. I assume it would be twice as fast to fill the screen so wondered why some people choose to grow one plant that takes months of vegging.

My tents only 90cm wide and tall, 60cm deep. I'm guessing it wouldn't take much longer than autos do in that size?

Cheers in advance for your time and advice

I've been dying to try a scrogg Silk brother but i thought you had grown photo's in the past ? i'm no scrogg expert but your tent size would suit a single plant for a scrogg maybe a bit longer till harvest than auto's but if you go for an indica it would shorten the time down a wee bit and the potential rewards from yield should be worth the while, quite sure if Joker sees this he'll put you right mukka, all the best, G'.

I love scrog, my biggest yields are from scrog. I just done my recent crop in one..... it wasn't the same as before

Since my last scrog grow, I've moved house, my tent is in a new position, and I can only get to the front of it. This made it really difficult to get to the plants at the back of the tent.

I did four in there, and near the end, the back of the tent was just dirty, dead leaves I couldn't reach hanging off the back of the plants, couldn't train it into the screen properly at the back, it was a real pain in the arse tbf lol.

Only do a scrog, if you have access to at least three sides of your tent, so you can reach every where you need to, when you need to.

If you can only get in from the front, go for manifolding instead

Great point Macky never thought to add that, that's the very reason i can't scrogg mukka mine is a groom and i only have access from the front, expecting delivery of a 2x1x180cm tent today or tomorrow so if i can get it suitably sited i'll be able to scrogg in there, G'.

1m tent you might be ok, as the stretch to the back ain't so much, adding that extra 20cm makes a difference! Lol.

It's not bad at first. But when you hit that stretch, and you're training every day for two weeks, fuck man, it's gets tiresome lol. Then when the screen fills, you just cant get to the back.

My tents only 2 ft deep so wouldn't have any in the back, just 2 next to each other.
I'll stick to autos and last for a while. Cheers for all the info

My 1st attempt was a 12/12 but I try to forget about that grow as it was a half assed unplanned accident that got chopped too early and simply acted as a tobacco substitute with street weed.

... Then I found the talk
Since then Ive been on autos in Coco, lights upgraded (as you know), and went from 14g on that 1st attempt to 173g on the 2nd. Now that's proof thetalk helps
