I'm I tight arse aswell ,hang a strip of towel along side your reflector (depending on what lights you use ofc) with the bottom bit in a jug of water as it'll act like a wick and draw up moisture and say every five hours I spray from the top to soak down the towel Click image for larger version.

But ffs don't hit the bulb with any water
with my 400w hps hood for seedling room
But I am getting a humidifier at weekend but for a quick fix it works well

I like your way of thinking.

The wet towel method works. I had a tub of water in the tent, literally a food tub with water, and a microfibre cloth for the extra surface area for evaporation, basically working like a wick. It was able to bump the RH% up.

When things got too hot I used those plastic freezer flat block things, prop them up in the water tub, and have the wet towel draped over the ice pack. Cheap as chips and brought the temps down.

A total pain when I had to swap the ice packs about 2x a day, but I would say it saved my seedling last year. It was a tip from our sponsor J Trich.

    If your still about beezerk
Towels and jugs arnt much help mate I know I've tried since starting growing 3 years in uk
But every time from seedlings I thought I could get away with 45-50 rh but I can see plants struggling, especially at young age you've really got to be nearer to 70 and with towels your lucky to add 5 points to your meter, spraying the walls gives a bigger bump
I'm going Pick up one from hydroponic store tomorrow £40 for 5 litre , should be OK now I've downsized to a 2 plant room
    Atb chap
