    Default Height differences for autos

    Hi,

What would be the height differences for topped versus untopped White Widow autos?

    Soil, 250W dual HPS.

The topped one will usually be taller but it is too hard to guess by how much....

You can keep anything short if you want to. The height stats on the packet/online ignore training and quite rightly, too. They're giving you best (or is it worst?) case scenarios.

There are literally hundreds of examples on this website showing how to keep plants short. Piece of piss, mate.

topping is used to split the auxins between multiple branches and to get multiple tops vs just one leading branch when untopped,
haven't ever grown an auto but that's the theory behind topping any budding/fruiting plant(s)

The problem is that I have been growing with 180W CFLs before and have had heights problems ... even if I have 170CM from the ground to a lamp.

Now I have 250W HPS dual and was thinking that if topping, then not growing so tall?

Keep ur day/night temps as close as possible. This will help to keep tighter internodal spacings.
