Interesting. The yield is good...can’t knock that. But is it hitting the golden the 1gpw? Seems maybe not quite. Huge debate about this on the LED page.

Would you say it’s mainly just speeding up the grow rather than increasing yield?

Another question....do the water chillers rely on your pump or do they have their own little pump inside too?

Last time I changed my airstones the order came through wrong and they sent me 12 inch air bars. I’ve put them in some of the buckets standing up and those buckets have much better root growth than the small 4 inch ones I been using. The only water fall I’ve got is from the chiller outlet. Good amount of water disturbance and good flow stops anything going stagnant.
Can recommend the mephisto strains they’ve all turned out pretty good and I also like humbolt county seeds.
Very hard to pick a single strain that’s great on yield and quality smoke. Mephistos are the only ones I’ve grown with consistatly good yield and quality smoke at the end of it. Not much help I know but breeder definatly has a lot to do with it.
4 oz a plant is a great average I would say.

So these Mephisto genetics you speak of are they the ones Seedsman have available or am I way off ?

Might need to learn about Autos now! The amount of research I’ve done in the past week or so is unreal.

What height are your Autos getting to? My height is limited as I’ll be growing in a roof/loft/attic tent. 180 heigh at the peak but only full width at 150.

Mephisto are on sale with a few different seed banks and they also have their own website.
I’m not quite hitting 1gpw which does annoy me a bit but I’m sure with photos , better training and not being so lazy/stoned all the time I’d be able to get that magic figure. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever hit 1gpw but I’m happy with my results
Ive had some autos stay at about 2.5 foot tall but most of mine end up hitting the lights and I tie them down or aww from the bulbs.
Photos are better for training and general abuse as autos are on a mission to get to the end and I find if I mess them about to much then they go wrong. Photos are more forgiving

Water chiller uses the pump that is in the system. The outlet of pump connects to inlet of chiller and out let of chiller goes back in to my header pot. That’s where my little water fall is

Cool so plants are 2.5 foot. How tall are those big pots? Hopefully an LED light will give me more room. You’ve got those huge reflectors right?

Buckets are 14 inches High and my tent is 200cm high. The parabolics are about a foot deep once their on the roof bars so leaves me about 140cm for the plants. Always struggle with Stretch in on my grows so is a bit of a battle usually.

Going off seeing the transition from soil to coco and then seeing what rdwc produces in Gingers thread id say 2 photos max in a 1.2 square. Maybe 3 autos

I rammed out a 1.2 space with 4 autos in coco, lots of rot not good.

Quantum boards over alien setup, easily 1.5gpw

Is it just to prevent roots blockage?
