Default LSC Website Updates & Feedback

We’ve had a long journey on the web, as many companies who have been around for a while would appreciate. Ever get to a website and feel like it’s kinda’ lonely? Like it exists in an echo chamber? Well, we did feel that on most of the cannabis seed sites out there.

When our customers come to the shop, we have a chat, they get to see the operation, and most importantly that we’re real people with a passion for cannabis seeds! In designing our website, we always have this concept in mind, with a focus on interacting with our visitors and trying to help out wherever we can.

In the early days you could reach us only by phone… Today we’re on Facebook, Twitter, What’s App, and as you’re witnessing, finally venturing into the forumsphere! As time goes on, I’m sure we’ll be expanding into even more places.

Another thing we’ve taken issue with over the past few years is the content that is provided by Seed Banks… Should we just take their word for what they say about their strains (50cm high, 99.5% THC, 7 ton yield… you know the spiel)? In the early days, there were little over a handful of seedbanks that we would work with. We knew the people behind the operations, and we could vouch for them.

Today the cannabis seed market is larger than ever, with new seed banks popping up literally every week. We don’t always have much experience with these guys and gals, so that’s where you guys come in. If you head over to our website www.londonseedcentre.co.uk, you’ll see that since back in 2016 when we introduced an incentive for users to give feedback on strains (by rewarding seed chips), we now have thousands of honest strain reviews by good folks like yourselves, to make informed decisions before making a purchase!

In fact there are a bunch of ways you guys can help us, and in return we give you back seed chips, which can be cashed in at checkout to give you discounts on your orders.
Now heading into 2019, we are doing a major update to our website, adding over 1300 new strains to our online catalogue!

We’re also making some serious performance updates and fixing glitches that our customers inform us about. You can expect a fresh design and a completely revamped mobile website too. Furthermore, we’re working hard on improving our service globally offering the website in over 10 different languages and in a bunch of different currencies.

If you have any feedback or questions about our website, this is the place to discuss. Of course, you can always call us on +44(0)208 208 0770, email us at [email protected] and contact us on What’s App at +44(0)7376 448 581. We really do appreciate your honest opinions, and even if change doesn’t happen overnight, every voice counts!
    Cheers guys & happy 420!

You need to be more honest about things...

I just popped on your site looking at autos...

I selected the 5-6 weeks flowering time & the first result was 6-7 weeks flowering time. It may sound petty but which one do I now believe? The 3rd & 4th selection said the same

...and! (wait for it lol) are these true flowering times? or ones that the breeders have lied about (add a week or two for it to be done properly!)

I'd happily try a few of these fast flowering strains but I'll really review them badly if they still ain't done after 7 weeks flowering

    Hi there M_C

Thanks for the feedback. This is a great point that you bring up, and the very reason we've started this thread. Errors like this can make us look misleading, when in fact quite the opposite is true.

As our catalogue has expanded, it's taken a serious toll on our website. One of the major bugs we are addressing in our new website is exactly this, our search engine can't take it any more and is mixing up content that is getting produced in the search results when using the strain finder.

So to answer your question, and for anyone else having this issue with the website, the flowering time you should "believe" is the one in the description of the strain on the product page itself. We have literally spent the last 3 months dedicated to cleaning out the database of product info to corellate with the information provided from the breeder. Included in that task is making sure the info will be 100% correct for the extra 1300 strains being added.

The new website will be in beta next weekend, where we will put it through its paces internally. You guys can expect a go live in the first week of March. Meantime, we do apologise for the inconvenience and hope this answer, while not excusing us, allows you to get a feel for the kind of issues we have to deal with on an ongoing basis.

    All the best.

That's great that you are addressing these issues

Often, they appear small issues but what happens is that guys (and gals) buy strains & then join here for help when the strain doesn't do what it says on the packet (then we get a hard time when explaining lol)

I'll take a look when you are up & running on your Beta & support you where I can

Now that's what I call customer care! Instant answer, no BS and no excuses. Just a factual explanation and solution.

This is looking very promising for future customers, hats off LSC

Thank you, Iron! We want to make sure that when you guys address an issue, it will get to the people responsible for that department. In this case our dev team.

Hey Wags. If you are referring to British Outdoor Mix by Feminised Seeds, then yes it is discontinued. Yeah, if it says so, then it is really discontinued/unavailable at the moment. But, if you come across something that you see available on other website but discontinued on ours, just give me a shout and I'll check if it's back on the market. Sometimes breeders bring some strains back and we might not notice that... But, that's not the BOM by Feminised Seeds

Well, our seeds are just souvenirs and we don't recommend to use them for anything else like growing. So, I can't really tell what would be suitable for use in the uk. Some of our popular strains at the moment are Hollands Hope, Gold Rush Outdoor or one of available outdoor mixes such as the one from Dutch Passion
