Default First time DIY stealth grow!

First off I'd like to say without this site I wouldon't know 98% of what I know about growing!(and still learning).

OK so long story short. After many years and lots and lots of reading and watching others, I finally have the opportunity to start my own personal grow! Ive decided to start off small just to test the waters. Ok here's set up.

BOX: L33in x W17in X D17in. I modified an old dresser/nightstand I had home that my wife wanted me to "get rid of" lol.

SEEEDS/SOIL. 2 bag seeds I've collected. Just picked two out of 7 good looking seeds. Soil is Miracle grow for seedlings.

LIGHTS: Right now I have 3 23w=100w equivalent cfl.

FANS: I have two 120mm fans hooked up to old phone chargers. One for intake the other extraction. Also there's a small 4in fan inside blowing on plants.

TEMPS: Lights on max Temps are about 85f and lights off they have been getting a little cold at 73-74f since its middle of winter where I am.

BASICS: Im on.or about day 3/4 both have sprouted and showing first set of leaves. The first day i have them 24 hours of light but now ive started them on 12/12 to keep them smaller. Again this is just for personal use and experience. Pics will help explain things a little better. I know I skipped a few important things lol. Please if anyone is interested ask questions and I love learning new things so don't hesitate to point me in the right direction! Hopefully some of the vets are still around who inspiredo me!(vi12,gumball,grumpy and plenty more).

Congrats on your first mission although I would be a bit wary of bag seeds, seeds could turn hermie on you potentially wasting all that time and money spent

Would be better off buying some seeds from one of our sponsors...hell of a let down if it goes to shit

Also, if they're photo seeds, a 12/12 schedule will start them flowering before they get a chance to veg properly

Hey there AND! Thanks for the kind words! Yes I'm very aware of the risk of bag seeds. And as for cost didn't really spend much. And I'm not sure if the sponsors ship to the states. It's been awhile since I've checked lol

Always thought it amazing how you guys do these stealth grows, best of luck! My only concern is your soil mate, my first grow was in miracle-gro and it turned into a bloody nightmare!?Really hot soil that causes a multitude of problems, especially if it has those tiny slow release fert's mixed in.

I did a little research on the miracle grow and haven't seen many people have issues. I just wouldn't begin feeding until 4+weeks In just to avoid an over feeding of nutes. I could be wrong but this is the perfect time for find out lol.

Hey dude, I'll follow along for the journey

Are you planning a diy filter later on?
I've just finished using cfls and took the plunge and made a LED quantum board style light. It freed up a bit of height and cut my leccy bill in half.
I don't have any useful xp in photoperiods, but you could grow a bushy indica auto in that space and with a bit of lst get 2 to 4 ounces. 2 auto plants would be a squeeze I reckon. My tents only 36" tall but I have double your width so I get 2 in.
