good luck with your autos litty,
hope they offer you a quicker return using twice the amount of electric use indoors

Lol big ol sausage party in here haha

@M_C shit really a 250? I’d definitely never get that, but it’s a nice goal lol

@monster cheers bro but I’m not sure what you mean lol

I’m probably going to try some autos because all these photos look beautiful but I’d be running them in a separate smaller tent with a different light...

So New question, which light would be best? LED 300w (vipar spectra or mars hydro) or a hps 250w?

Id pick the hps over those lights too haha Wouldnt be a patch on an Invisible sun led 250w though ;-)

Think monsters referring to the fact autos use a lot more light (24/0 vs 12/12). Electricity usage guude courtesy of Gardro

I only grow photos because I like to get them where I want them in veg before I flip the lights.
All the photos in this thread are making me think otherwise though, some monsters

Ahh that definitely makes sense, I didn’t think of the extra cost running 24/0 but my electricity costs are unusually high anyway... the whole house runs through about £4 a day during flower and maybe £6-7 a day during veg. I’m not 100% sure on exactly what I draw from the wall, but I’ve got a 600w magnetic ballast with a 400w bulb on and a 6” fan (not sure how many watts it uses without going into the tent and messing around) but I know they shouldn’t use so much especially looking at the running costs chart. If I worked it out right I should only be using £1.11 a day for my tent but unless someone else is growing and has tapped my electric I don’t know how my house would run up so much electric

So I’ve heard a lot of buzz about invisible sun and other high end LEDs but what’s so great about them? I understand their good for plants and such, but if they are so amazing and yield promoting why don’t many large scale grows use them? As I would assume it’s way cheaper to run a load of LEDs rather than 30 odd HPS bulbs and less fan use too. I did consider invisible sun but I didn’t think they did like 250-300w lights I’m definitely going to check that out

That was my opinion until I saw the “post one picture of your plant/plants” section on here and saw some absolute monsters of autos
