Thread: Product for easy cleaning of salt residue from pots?

Default Product for easy cleaning of salt residue from pots?

This isn't directly bud related, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Is there a product that would remove salt residue from something without scrubbing, or at least with very minimal scrubbing? Similar to the products you get to easily loosen food stuck to pans...

The reason I ask is that my airpots have a ring of white salt residue around the bottoms where the runoff was.

I need to give them all a good clean. If they were normal pots then I could just scrub around the bottom with a sponge or something. But being airpots, they're bumpy and full of holes, and scrubbing will take me ages.

Hope this makes sense... any thoughts? Or do I just need to get down to some real manual labour...

I'd have thought hot water would be enough to dissolve the salt

Unfortunately not bro, I've soaked em in a hot bath before for general cleaning, they come out shiny but with a white ring round the bottom
I feel like there's a rude joke in there somewhere but I'm too tired to find it...
    Cheers

Actually I see what you're saying, I might try pouring proper boiling water over em...

Good old plan WHITE vinegar, great for kettles too - if you live in a hard water area.

Hi I think the white salt residue you are talking about is mainly lime deposits so a limescale remover would do the job
