It's alive for sure. I've had husks stick around for upwards of a week. They'll stunt you for a little while but they usually turn out fine as long as I let the plant do it itself. I know a lot of people who will give it some help but in my experience the ones I've helped ended up pretty weak whereas the ones that do it themselves have been winners. Choice is yours.

Legend! Thanks. I've got it on order now.

I've removed the shell today. I've attached the picture of how it looks about 2/3 hours after.

Once the organically arrives I'll let you know

Brilliant mate, I can't see any damage to the cotelydons either, so she should be fine. She probably wont do to much on the surface for a few days due to shock but that's to be expected.

Is this an auto or a photo?

Happs days. It's an auto, with it being my first ever plant I thought it would be easier, it's going to take me a while to get used to things. I'm not convinced about the seeds though, I got 1 decent one out of 5 and 1 that's sprouted the smallest amount. Do you have any recommendations for shops or types? Going to stick with auto for my first few grows and learn and progress from there.

I appreciate what your doing, I'd be screwed without your advice ??

No offence but its probably more your germination method than the seeds.

How do you germinate your seeds before planting?

I put them in water for around a day until they sink and then put them in a bowl of water wrapped in kitchen roll for a couple of days.

A bowl of water wrapped in kitchen roll?

You got the, let them sink bit right. From then you need damp kitchen roll in a container or bag that will keep the moisture in. I use a Tupperware box. Then you need to keep them dark and warm. I put mine on top of my modem it's around 30 degrees inside the box. If your container isn't air tight, dont let it dry out.

24 to 48 hours later you have a tap root ready to plant.
