    Hi,

I'm unsure if I got the images to attach but I was wondering if anyone could please help me with the wiring of the speed controller to my fan. I have conflicting info and don't want to do any damage to me or the transformer.
I have an image(Not on here) of the wiring for output and it shows the live wire going to U. Is this correct? Also the fuse (F1) doesn't show up on the diagram does this mean I don't need to wire to it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated as the noise that comes of the fan with my cheap ass speed controller is far to loud at the moment.

    Thanks.

U & N are the correct positions for a 2 wire motor, L1 would be used if 3 wire motor. Fuse should be hard wired in the unit, not optional...If optional, it needs to go on the output to the motor

It's the str-1-35l22 wiring to a rvkl2. I'm I correct in assuming this is 3.5 amp? If so I've scored as it should be 1.5amp

It's the rvkl2 125mm fan I'm using. The fuse has thrown me off as it doesn't show as an option in the drawing. So with this fan would I put earth to Pe, live to U or fuse

    Thanks

Earth should be connected, there's a screw terminal directly below it as with the other two, don't know why some think its not needed if its there, connect it

No problem, have fitted many of these controllers in takeaways & restaurants. As yours is over capacity, it should last you a while. They don't last long near the limit, at least the cheap ones don't
