Yes..I think you're right and thank you very much for researching this, I truly appreciate it mate

I've used clingfilm to cover the buffer solution.

One more question (sorry I've hijacked your thread), how do you store your pen?

Not hijacked mate. Half this diary is about pens lol. I keep the pen in a cup with storage solution and cling film to stop the evaporation.
Milwaukee instructions say to keep in storage solution all the time when not in use.

Also dont use to test inert water. RO or distilled is inert and will damage the pen. Once nutes are added it is okay to test.

Ok cheers bro, I think I'll do the same with this one as I did invest in some storage solution too

    Hi Talkers.

I have no easy way of setting up a tripod for the scope in the tent and I shake too much for good trichome shots without the tripod. Here is my shaky attempt.

Based on the trichomes I think many growers would be harvesting now. I guess that means I should switch to low EC water for the finish.

I will not use plain water for flush since flushing is done with tap water (low EC) and my water is RO (zero EC)

I will makeup a new rez asap. Will try for today. I am thinking 0.3 EC to mimic soft water for the flush.

Any opinions or thoughts on hydro flushing? 1 week or 2?

Reminder: this is my first dwc grow. I had previously grown a soil/dwc combo experiment with soil feeding and plain water rez and I have done one coco grow which got infested with gnats and thrips but I did take it to finish with a 1 week flush.

    Happy monday. Cheers.

Hey Icecalibur. Had a look back and these girls were only flipped 58 days ago.

I am out of time to get them dry before vacation.

Res is changed to plain PH water with hydroguard.

Harvest will be Saturday or monday.

    Cheers mate.

The plants were cut and hung Saturday. I cut them to branches and hung the branches in a cardboard box that is left in the filtered groom. I did not have time for any trimming. My fridge is still too full to use as a dryer. I need to move more fridge items to the new place.

I will report back with dry weight and photos once dried.

Here they are drying. My guess is about 2oz stemless dry. Not very impressive considering 315 watts of light, 2 plants and hydro. But considering all the the problems i had with this grow, I am just happy for a finish with good smokeable weed.

A small harvest is always better than no harvest.

Congratz CD, this was quite a ride and I admire you for sticking with it.
Hopefully you're rewarded with an amazing smoke.

Good thinking with those sticks in your drying box, I have been messing about with string but this is so much easier

    Hi Talkers.

Mokum's Tulip cured in at 58% RH. Almost 4 OZ. Not a great yield but it was 2 plants in a single dwc bucket and my first real dwc grow after weeks of almost loosing the plants to bad soil. I feel like I did ok with the situation but of course wish I had done better.

Here she is in all her glory minus the 3 gram breakfast blunt I rolled last night.

This strain has the strongest flavor and scent next to everything I have grown so far.

Floral would be my best description. Like a perfume made from flowers. I am guessing tulips but do not have any nearby to compare to

This strain leaves a long floral aftertaste. Normally the flavor does not linger like this one. Very cool.

She packs a real punch! Heady and uplifting without the paranoia. Exactly what I was looking for as a daytime / worktime smoke.

Thank you Dutch Passion for sharing this strain and for providing free seeds to the forum. I hope that we will not all be judged on the lack of humanity shown by a single ex member.

Thank you THCtalk.com for giving us this safe platform to partake and share.

Cheers talkers and stalkers! Peace to all.
