If you want belts and braces, fit a temperature protection circuit.

Thermostat set to around 60 degrees C feeding back to contactor that powers the groom.

There are expensive fire protectors that you can buy. Think smscom do one.

Temp sensor inside groom. Set it to whatever you think is a temp you wont get too like 60 degrees. Once that is exceeded, the power is cut to the groom.

This will remove the heat source ( the light or ballast on fire lets say )

The AFO would extinguish any fire but the protector would prevent any reignition or prevent the fire in the first place. No nasty powder everywhere.

Also, if your extract ever failed, your plants wouldnt get cooked under hps.

Do you think this would be suitable for a 0.6 X 0.8 X 1.4 tent?

    NO LINKS!
