I need to try this grafting once I harvest something with a nice rootstock.
Probably not Autos.... but photos yeah, the theory is that from the one trunk, the branches are all different strains.

So that would be a 18/6 to 24/0 lighting, vegging ALL the time. Great if there's space dedicated to that.

What I try to do is to have the scion still on her roots whilst the graft is taking place, so if the graft doesn't work out, she doesn't just plain die, that her own roots would be able to sustain her still. My CBD Critical Super Bud is "kinda grafted" this way to the Amnesia Fast, but she is small still, like a few inches tall. I am guessing that the graft has not entirely gone as planned.

I tried to get you a you tube demo but not seen the one I wanted to share. Soz.

I've done some research into this, the best use I can think of, is to keep one mother plant, with multiple strains on it for cuttings.

Instead of having five plants to keep as mothers, have one mother, with four strain grafted onto it.... might give it a go soon

    That's a great idea!
How about a flowering rootstock for checking plant sex?

I get you now, take a cut from a vegging plant and add it to a flowering plant so you cans ex the plant without flowering too soon. Nice man, very nice

Lol. Keep one plant in 12/12 alive all the time on 12/12.

Add a tiny branch if you want to determine sex. Add larger branches from the multiple strain mother to keep flowers growing all the time.

So 1 multiple strains mother in veg and 1 multiple strains flowering.

Lol. Can a stem be grafted to the trunk or does it need to be a stem. Perpetual flower only works of we can graft to the trunk.

Grafting to a trunk will be harder I think, one plant will pretty much be complete dead if you chop off all greenery, it can't eat...but man, this plant have never ceased to amaze me, you can probably do it lol
