The Amnesia Fast got affected too. Yeah, you are right that at least I don't smoke them. Once she is mature enough she is coming down and going in the oil blend.

Thanks, yeah, the timing was less than ideal, but I had been wanting to breed a little so anyhow; and also worked out a possible way around to get the indicas bigger, so there were good things that came out of it.

Holy smokes! that knot is giving me ideas and that is a nice looking bud!!

That knot could be perfect for grafting, at an early stage!

Thanks mate. Last time the knot did not gimp the plant. I managed to tie it much more gently and without breakage. This one snapped in 4 places on the bend. I thought she was done for. Just shows how strong the will to live is. No nanners or balls on her!

Thanks Val. Kinda lost me there. What would be the goal with grafting? Mixing strains or creating something pretty? Both work for me lol.

Mixing strains, mostly, without having to cross breed. I would love for a strong sativa root system to "power" some indicas so they grow bigger; or an indica root system so the sativas don't go shooting for the stars!

Of course it could totally back fire and we have humongous indicas that take forever to finish, or puny sativas that is only good for lighting a barbecue! But one can dream LOL.

Royal queen seeds has a page on grafting. They say you can graft multiple strains to a single rootstock and have multiple strains growing from the same tree.

So technically we could keep a single root stock alive and graft on seedlings after they hit the 5th or 6th node. Keep a perpetual auto grow of as many strains as you want with only growing 1 plant plus the occasional seedling to add to the mix? I need to try this grafting once I harvest something with a nice rootstock.
