Default Is this light sufficent for a 1.2mX1.2m tent?

Evening I just scored this light on ebay for £36 it's a mars hydro 300w led

It's in perfect working order and is pretty bright. Would this light be ok in a 1.2mx1.2 tent or even a 1mX1m ?

I couldn't say no to it at that price to be honest.

I've set the light up in my cupboard grow for now until I get a tent.

They say recommended 70cm tent but would a 1m tent do at a push ?

Ok Ive done some research and even the mars hydro 600w eco is only sufficient for a 1mx1m tent so with this being half the power it deffo wont do a 1.2m tent. Still a good buy though I think.

It will flower pretty good when hung 12-15 inches above the canopy. The coverage is only 1.5-2.0 foot square unfortunately then. A single smallish auto lets say.

Perfect for veg though like hotshot says. It will pull either 125 or 140w from the wall
