I've grown chillies outside in coco

But if I want to grow cannabis outside then it's a pot full of dirt for me

Growing outdoors, id go into the ground. But thats not gonna be an option for me. Im just gonna add a shit load of batshit to the medium during the last couple of weeks whilst im flushing

And for sure phenotype matter too, I gotta find a good strain. I grown the tastiest weed ever in this organic shit, but not all of it has been incredible, ive had coco crops out do it. So im gonna do a pheno hunt for a nice jack herer. Then take some cuts, and grow one in coco, one in bat mix, see what the end result is like.

Keep things interesting even after ten years, there is still new things to try. Best hobby ever lol. Learned a lot, but i need a break from it, and coco is like a holiday compared to this shit

Lets see what happens over the next couple of crops

Mate if youre struggling with pests in soil id be fucked! first run without the mites so far, dreading flip though! Gonna have to stop spraying the plants and praying for a miracle!

Keep looking at these soil grows and reds is forever making me want to go full living soil but im not sure if the headaches are worth the extra taste

Cocos just too easy, be even better once i set an auto feed system up so i dont have do that everyday lmao, try getting the easiness of coco and laziness you can get with soil

I've only ever grown in soil, but am willing to try new things especially when I'm passionate about the subject...one day I'll give it a go and worst case scenario it's not for me I'll just change back, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

So far my current soil grow has been a breeze but let's not count blessings too soon.
I do have a bunch of fungus gnats but the plants look healthy as can be so I'm not even worried about those.

And redisiel is totally right, having fun growing is super important

    Dear Mr Macky,

I'm writing to you today in an effort to repay the faith you showed in me back in Dam. I spent most of the weekend moaning about soil and politics and you very kindly kept me sane.

I remember your words perfectly "Shit man, we all have our problems, soil or hydro. Just stick at it and change small things to try and sort shit out". Mrs Macky then said, "Every grow throws different shit at you, you have to dust yourself down, get high and go again".

So, right back at ya my man. Have a word with Redz and check your IPM is in order. Then order more soil and bat shit but from a different supplier, storage is everything imo. Then get tweaking until you get it right. I'm going back to soil next but I'm also gonna run coco at the same time to see which is my bag.

You'll get it sorted pal, you're one of the most determined people I know, just keep at it me old China
