I do have an emergency high temp cut-off already, but it just nice to know you will get a heads up remotely and can log into the cams wherever you may be.

I see the ubibot has IFTTT which is what I’ve been looking at to send out alerts..

Only thing I’m have issues with really is getting something to actually make my iPhone ring loud enough to wake me up.

Annoyingly the notifications are quiet and quite passive...
If your phones on charge over night try a loud ass speaker on Bluetooth... short of that try one of the newer iPhones, I’ve got one and it’s wayyy louder than any other phone I’ve had... the site says 25% louder than previous phones

    Hi all!

My first grow was in a very tiny box where heat was a huge problem. Since I have programming knowledge (even if just basic programming is needed, using python you could learn the needed basics in a couple of days) I bought a Raspberry Pi (the zero is around 12$ and more then enough) and a relay module (around 3$) and connected it to the lamp. When the temperatures raised to a certain limit the program stopped the light for a while. You could easily do something similar to alert you via mail, whatsapp (if you are not at home) or trigger a connected speaker/buzzer.

Cannot share the code as for my currently going on second grow I bought a 2ftx2ft tent with the exhaust fan always on and the problem is gone, as well as the code

Just my 2 cents, have good day growers!
