    Just top dress 5 tablespoons crushed malted barley per ten litre of soil, gently rake in and water.

    Here get this and stick it in some cloth and smash with hammer or uses coffee grinder. This is what I use..

    If you can get grain that isnt crushed(milled) you'll be better off. Brew shops a good spot if you have access. Then use a food processor or coffee grinder and you are in business. Something about the enzymes being eventually lost once its crushed.

    2-row or pilsner is just as good and usually cheaper.
