Cheers m8, As you can see with the last pics I changed it round a bit and took th the pc fan out mc told me it wouldn’t do shit lol, I’ve just checked them this morning and the soil looks pretty dry but I sprayed them with water I just don’t want to over water them as from what I’ve seen on the internet it’s the number 1 noobie mistake and the second one still has its seed on it I’m hoping it will come off soon I touched it softly to see if it would come off but no chance, when do u think I should add my second light and put my fan on to strengthen them
    Cheers

Your setup is balling! I think ya may be pushing a bit hard on the lights. You could probably do most of your vegging with that CFL ya got.

I wouldnt go more than 50w of leds at 24 inches above canopy until they are 6 inches or so. The par off of those diodes will beat your plants into the dirt regardless of heat or ppfd.

cheers for replying i don't know what balling means sorry m8 lol, so you reckon the led is too much even at the recommended distance near enough
    cheers

    Lol balling means nice.

I dont think it will kill your plants, though with them being seedlings it may. I killed a week old Colorado cookies by hitting it with 300w of leds @ 36 inches for about 8 hours this month.

The bigger concern I'd have is that leds can push the plant to grow very close to the soil. Its like the opposite of a leggy plant from too little light. If you have a cfl available it just seems like it would be easier to use that to shape your plants.
