    Default Will this still work!?

    Hi guys,

I had this eBay item number:192039347714 item from a previous build that I was going to install in the current build. Problem, I shortened one of the cables, the middle heater plug, only to then find and notice the instructions state the wires shouldn't be shortened - TOO LATE

What do you electrical wizz people think? Will it still work as intended or will it be fooked?

    Regards all

    New PC Build coming soon

I would have thought that it would just be the sensor wire that could cause issue if shortened?

Thanks for the fast response M_C ! Not having a clue about electrics I would just be guessing in all honesty though the little I do know tells me that shortining either of the power cables should't change anything, should it? :/

Here is a PFD of the instructions, what I mention can be seen on the second page on the left hand side.

Cant see any issue with cutting heater cable so I'm guessing its a safety thing, the proportional pulse will still travel along copper cable of any length

Wicked thank you, so I should still be golden hey? I've had someone else tell me its likely just the sensor cable that cannot be shortened. I'll likely give it a go and we'll see ....Keep the answers coming though guys, more the better

    cheers
