1st of June, I'm definitely in probably outdoors.
A mug is small enough to hide in the garden.
Would be nice to have the option of growing a regular plant till it's finished so I can compete with the big boys this time

Since you normally work in 750ml bottles mate how about a champagne flute for the mug challenge?

BB & I kicked out the rules a little earlier, they are almost identical to last year:-

Starting 1st June 2019 & lasting for 16 weeks - or until every one is finished - which ever comes soonest!

The aim? - To grow the best plant that you can in a standard coffee mug (The standard size seems to be 330ml so don't take the piss!)

    The prize? - TBA

Auto & photo seeds are fine, clones are not acceptable.

Your mugs can have drainage holes drilled if you require.

No automated watering systems of any kind are acceptable, hand watering only!

Soil or coco is fine - no hydro set ups (of any description) will be accepted as entries....

Anyone got any tips on what to use to drill holes in the mug with?.

Does it have to be a ceramic mug?

I used a tile drill when I did mine

Ceramic, metal, wood... it makes no difference (well... maybe not wood lol)

Would a Sports Direct mug be classified as taking the piss?

I see they do a giant one too LOL - if in doubt then just fill it & tip the water into a measuring jug... the aim is 330ml but we will accept up to around 400ml
