I think you will find 25 square feet of grow power to be a very solid jumping off point. You said you were providing for your kids. Ya really should check out the how to posts for making concentrates. Processing is some valuable information I wouldn't trust coming from the youtube kids.

I've been looking into concentrates and especially capsules using dry decarbed leaf with a fat carrier and natural preservative. For the teenager I'm planning 1:1 at about 7.5 mg to control tantrums and improve socialization (among others). For the twenty-something a 2:1 to get more of the chronic pain (arthritis-like) and anxiety.
