Yeah, that's the thing..I don't get involved with any arguments with regards to feminists and women rights etc..the way I see it is you should treat everyone like you would want to be treated yourself and you'll be golden, no matter the gender.

I have to agree with you though scooby, I've been brought up all my life to be polite and help out my elders and ladies..and always have opened doors and unfortunately I have noticed on a couple of occasions exactly the same thing, where I'd get snarled like I've insulted them by helping them with the door..it's that "I don't need a man to open a door", how dare you attitude.

The majority are still kind though..just you'll get the odd one here and there and I refuse to stop being a gentlemen just because they don't like it.

If on the other hand a lady stopped and said 'no thank you' I would completely respect that..as she's letting me know she doesn't want me to open the door for her in a polite way for whatever reason she may have..to conclude no matter our opinions it doesn't mean we need to be impolite

Aye treat a woman how you want your mother/sister/daughter treated was what I've always tried to stick to. But in general I'm polite to everybody that deserves it defo gets you further in life lol.

I'm a genuinely nice guy I don't upset people start rows or anything.. I can sense when people being a tit or trying to belittle me in a sneaky way that they want you to think they're cool (if that makes sense) I have a close loop of friends I trust n friends I just say hi to. These days I just stay in the house or garden less hassle lol

Taste is lovely ,yep I would be fine on my mod benson as I know how to work it but this was using somebody else's mod fresh out the box that neither new how to use lol...and yes you did say ,it was great on my mod backed down to 8w power
