This is a feminised phantom OG seed I got free with an order from barney's. It germinated fine and same speed as others. first came two single leaves as normal then did nothing for about five days just a stick with a little ball on the end grew out, then its put out four treble leaves, has anyone seen this before? Is it mutant? and if I mother it would it be likely to clone mutant trates? Any info welcome ????

Yes, it's a genetic mutation and a very beautiful one at that!..

As far as keeping her as a mother and the cuttings showing the same traits, I'm pretty sure that would be correct since they are genetically identical, give it a whirl and let us know

Bit of an update just to complete the thread!
This plant continued to grow normally after its initial split and showed no more mutant traits unfortunately, so didn't mother.
But was a bit more bushy than the others
    And turned out spot on
    Thanks for your input!

I saw one of these a few yewrs ago, it had the little ball thing and 2 fused crowns emerged. It grew as two stems that were fused together next to each other so two stems in a single skin..weird, when cut it had a hollow figure of eight inner. It also put out four branches at each node section instead of two and grew a rock solid double bud at the top which was poor quality, kinda woody. The clones would have represented the branches which grew out normally and were rather delicious.
