    Default Nute burn or Defiency

    Soil or hydro or coco: DWC Hydro (4 gal bucket)

    Strain: Northern Lights (fem)

    Photo or Auto: Photo

    plant age: 2 months

    pot size: 4 gallon

    has it been repotted? and when?: 6 weeks ago transferred from soil to DWC



    nutes : general Hydroponics flora series

    Air temps (max min): 75f to 80f

    Res temps (max min): 70F

    humidity:50 - 60%

    lighting type and wattage (hps, led, cfl): Full spectrum LED 600 watts

    Light schedule: 24/7

    ph level: 5.8

    EC (hydro and coco only) 890PPM

    Background EC.

    feed schedule and nutes (for hydro and coco) weekly rez change



    Hey Everyone,

    I started having this issue from last week, leaves turn to yellow and slowly start to die this happens to the lower leaves only i cannot see anything wrong with the top leaves.

    I am having similar problems, but some plants are ok but 2 are looking bad, the leafs on mine are curling down aswell just not looking happy

    That is nute burn my friend!........ A PPM reading of 890 is far too high for a plant that is only 2 months old. Flush with ph'd water then start your nutrients at a lower rate.

    Nitrogen deficiencies usually start at the bottom and work their way up, but you don't normally see this until flowering or if you have a heavy canopy that prevents light from reaching the bottom. I'm not versed in Hydro, but have grown for decades. If the plant isn't seeing a nitrogen deficiency, which doesn't really seem to be the problem, then the other problem, as has been suggested, is too much food. Dark green vegetation and clawing leaves are a sign of nitrogen overdose. The plants can also look kind of droopy, as too much nitrogen/nutes can interfere with osmosis and causing water balance issues.
    These kind of issues are difficult to diagnose because too much of one nutrient can cause symptoms of a deficiency of another. Too much Cal-Mag can cause magnesium deficiencies, so go easy on the feedbag and I think you will be doing better.
