    Default Need some opinions.

Hi talkers....I've been thinking bout where I'm going to vent my new grow to for a few weeks now. Still not come to a decision lol. The house is a top floor flat. It will no doubt be a tent in a hall cupboard. Hopefully running 1 600w light...until I'm settled and a might upgrade lol.

    I think I only have 3 options.

Option 1. Vent it into next room which will be a living room with windows open. (I'm worried about any mold or damp destroying the gaff)

Option 2. Run ducting all the way to living room window and vent straight out window. (I'm worried about any1 seeing this as its a very busy street)

Option 3. Run ducting halfway down living room wall....to a small air vent. Take the wee slatted thing off n vent to wherever that leads to. (I'm worried that the vent may be connected to neighbours vent with same duct work or something?)

If any1 has any ideas what my best option is...I'd love to hear it lol.

    Peace.

I very much doubt this will vent to another's living area. You should be cool to vent out of air vent its bound to lead outside imo.

Aye bud if the vents on the gable end of your building it's more than likely just an air vent for each flat with no connection.

Unless you vent the thing outdoors, your entire building is going to reek whenever you flower. Seriously! Plants really smell when they are nearing the end of flowering, and if it s released anywhere inside it is going to travel, even if it is into another room with opened windows, since a change of wind direction could push the smell everywhere inside! I've been thru this...even venting outside can smell up the place, although carbon filters help considerably. In my opinion, ducting it outside somehow would be your best option. The smell is really strong if you aren't used to it!

Agree with above, option 3 sounds like the winner....although...

The one thing to consider is that it maybe a vent for a gas fire, is there one in the room in question ?

I agree with the smell part but if you use a decent carbon filter this does not happen. Good filter extraction makes no smells quality filters are a must.

Yeah agreed, a carbon filter is a must regadless of where you vent and ya shouldn't be growing with out one.

None of the oranges will be running bare back and carbon filters will be top notch.

I very much like my. Kiasen that BG picked out for me, not a whiff of anything ever.

Option 3 sounds best in my opinion Rasta, I can't see the ducting being shared with the neighbours. Decent filter and you should be ok
