    Default Not sick but ...

    Hi,

i forgot to switch my light period from 12/12 after my last grow, so my current grow has been on 12/12 lighting since the start and it's now day 53 and she's begun to flower. I also had her on HPS rather than MH so she hasn't grown much.

Can i switch lights to 18/6 now so that she'll veg more or is it a bad idea ?

    Thanks.

I thought after they got their pompoms going putting them back to veg would be a poor choice. She seems like a good size to start flower her though. Were you planning on potting her up and growing a monster or something?

Looking at where you are, I think I would just grow her out & mark it down to experience....

Ahhh shit eh . That too bad . Live n learn dude .

Before i started growing indoors . Someone passed me xx amounts of mothers just to store at my house . I had no clue about light schedules . I ended up flowering all the mother plants leving the lights on the same scheduled timer he had given me .

You could always turn her back to 18/6, but she is going to stall as she switches back to veg growth, then stall again when she switches back to flowering later on. To me, it would be a waste of time unless you don't mind the wait. If she starts to re-veg, it will grow out VERY bushy with new branches coming out just about every spot that you saw the flowers/pistils. You might be better off starting new plants, depending on how much room that you have and your personal feelings about waiting for the plant to go thru it's processes.
So...if you switched to 18/6 today, it will take about 10 days to start to grow in vegetation mode. When you switch back to 12/12, you have another week or 10 days until it starts to flower again... then you have another 8-12 weeks for flowering. With a re-vegged plant, you typically don't get the big colas but instead get a ton of smaller ones
