I change the names of desktop icons when I'm high

Sometimes, the new name is relevant to the image.

EXAMPLE: The Mad Max game has a skull as the image.

RESULT: I renamed it to "Bones McCoy".

Mostly, the new names are just wherever my stupid mood takes me.

EXAMPLE: For whatever reason, I decided that "blerk" was a word. So, I renamed 10 of my games to something with "blerk" in the name.

RESULT: I renamed one game to "Blerk Johnson - Blerkmaster", but I can't remember what the original game was called.

These are the hazards of doing what we do. Apologies if I forget I posted this and post it again. You can probably guess why.

Now I've said that, I do remember changing the name of some files once. It's actually quite a funny story, so I'll tell it here, now, for the first time.

A few years ago, I was transferring some mp3s to a flash drive but there was one file (The Doors) which was too big to transfer in one go.

So what I did was right click in the flash drive file and created five (5!) new folders called Doors 1, Doors 2, Doors 3, Doors 4 and, yep, you've guessed it, Doors 5, the "The" being redundant in this new structure.

It instantly brought to mind a house with 5 doors or maybe even a 5 door hatchback Kia Picanto. Or Ceed.

I still look back on that day and chuckle to myself at how my file re-naming reminded me of something else with 5 doors.

Massive kudos to the OP for reminding me of that.

I decided one day, to add all metadata (artist, album etc.) to my music collection...291Gb using Media Monkey...firstly baaaaad idea as estimated completion time was 3 years...5 months...17 hours ish

Secondly baaaad idea when stoned as everything got re-meta'd to 80's megamix because some twat did a 'select all' and that was the first album in the list...I realised about 20 hours in but about 100 albums (800 ish tunes) were all fecked

dunno why but this had me howling with laughter reminds me of the letters people would send into the Viz lol.
