Cool LED lights in the attic

Hi guys wondering, if I can get some advice and your thoughts on LED'S in growing in the Attic rather than HPS?
I'm looking at getting two sp-520's

-Reason being going forward into summer months they operate at a lower watt then the hps.
-Snow and roof situation as its unlikely that we will have a patch in the snow on top of our roof. (So i've been told?
    -cost saving on electric bill.

Would love to get your input on the situation?

Have you had a look at our sponsor mate? Invisible Sun, many people have a diary running using them and are getting very good results drop them a pm and see what they can do for you

Problem is with LED in a loft is that you may have to add heater for lights out therefore negating the savings...UK summers are not known for their consistancy

When I start my loft build, it's going to be that well insulated, I wouldn't worry about running 2x 600 hps.
The insulation is doing three jobs, keep cool in summer, keep warm in winter and keep the police from your door. Don't try and save pennies on the insulation. I think though running LEDs in a well insulated loft you could even supplement with co2. I doubt the temps would be excessive
When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all.
