Default Can seeds mature after a bud is cut?

So I successfully produced feminized pollen and used it to pollenize one bud on a second female 3 weeks ago. The remaining unpollenized buds are ready to harvest and I'd like to take down the whole plant. My question is: Can I remove the fertilized bud, put it in water, and expect the seeds to develop to full maturity, or do I need to leave it on the plant and under lights for a couple of weeks until the calyxes open fully and the seeds brown?

You've done the hard part making femmed seeds. Give them a chance to develop, they'll stop once you cut plant.

Cool. Just seems a waste to keep an 80 liter hydro system going for 3 buds , but (hopefully) worth it in the end: feminized Northern Skunk. Probably be one of my outdoor plants next summer since both parents were fast finishers.

    Thanx for the responses, All.
