    Default Timer

Anyone that can take the wattage you’ll be bringing through it... made the mistake of getting one from Poundland and a day later the timer mechanism melted itself shut, just lucky it didn’t actually go up
If you go to eBay or amazon they should have the specs, or if you go to a shop check the back... that’s where most of the draw information is

Cant get on with mechanical timers...I use digital ones (Feebay 262692195982)

Bought 4 of the above and have used for over a year on 600w HPS, 400w MH & a 630w CMH without issues although the timers posted by Bud & Sadface have the correct rated contacts for the possible inrush current generated by a digital ballast on startup.

If you are ok with mechanical timers , they're the safest option

I've used the plug & grow on 600w magnetic ballast and on 1000w lumatek ballast no worries...These where made by envirolite but rebranded renowned for reliability..
