Default Tiny white dots on coco - none on soil

I notice that out of the x3 pots I have, the x2 with coco have lots of tiny white dots, that move. When I mean move, I mean very slowly, and only a few out the dots. They're so small I can't get a picture and really have to focus to verify it they're actually moving or if it's just my imagination.

What's odd is that the pot with soil has nothing. I'm not overly worried at the minute but not been impressed with coco recently. It's water retention seems higher than the soil. Is there any recommendations for treatment or should I let the coco dry out? (This can take some time) I'm thining about sticky taping the rim of the soil pot as a precaution

If they are then no worries just use some sticky traps to keep the populations down. Do they jump when u water?? That's how I spotted mine. Had them on last grow, and possibly had them on every grow. Haha.

This is the best image I could get, but these ones don't jump when watering

As soon as you water the coco....bend right down n put your nose about half inch away from the coco.
If you feel them hitting your face....its springtails

Springtales are nothing to worry about bro. A grow for me just isn't the same without them
