    Default Loft extraction

Hi, got a groom in loft. 600w air cooled hood.
125mm extractor and 100mm intake fans.

Inlet comes in through a walk in wardrobe ceiling and up.
    Exhaust is a problem.

I have no air tiles on roof and no chimney. At the moment its blowing hot air into the loft space that isn't in use or insulated, Thing is I am worried about any smell blowing into next doors loft.

Is there any way I can vent outside through the felt? Ot through the over facia vents? Or maybe into the ridge tile?

I am out of ideas any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

have a look for a vent in the facia boards mate usually under the overhang on the slates .... failing that could you cut a small hole in the chimney so it vents out the top of the chimney ?

Thanks mate. No chimney as my house is pretty modern social housing but as you say there is a thin strip vent above the facia under the roof tiles. Maybe I could find a rectangle adaptor and but it up against that r just vent into the facia/sofit and hope it blows out from there?
Attached a picture of the type of vent.
    Thanks

Google 'roof tile vents' & look at images

Installing it would be the difficult part. Without being too suspect.

Yeah, that's the tricky bit unless you know a friendly roofer

It's not the job itself (I'm in the building trade)
It's more neighbors and the fact I'm a housing association Tennant.
If I get up on the roof they'll instantly know what I'm upto because I am the street pothead and everyone knows it.
    Tricky one really.
Thanks a load for your reply though I appreciate it lots.

To be honest mate, even if I knew you a guy was a 'pothead' and I saw him up a ladder replacing a tile, I would definitely not think to myself "he's replacing with a vented tile so he can exhaust air from a grow room" lol..many don't even think of these things, especially people who do not actually grow indoors.

BUT if it makes you uncomfortable then obviously best not to otherwise you'd be worrying all the time
