Humidity is a strange thing mate, I can never figure it out

Hard or soft water? somewhere in the middle TBH! Stupidly soft water can promote cal/mag issues but stupidly hard water comes with it's own problems...

As an example I have tap water 5.5 EC which is great... Ironman's tap water is over 8 EC! He's better diluting the water with some bottled water to bring down the EC

It doesn't overly matter as you'd need an EC meter... how often limescale builds in your kettle is a near enough measurement for soil growers lol

No problem with that, I often take my plants out for photo shoots & watering &, if It's going to be more than a few minutes, I turn the light off too just to save some pennies

Hi skunky and Mc what's the height you start your mars 300 at above the seedlings?
Giving a little advice to ibsey as he's struggling a bit with seedlings dying early, I'm using MH so I've no idea on led setup but I get the idea leds can be a bit harsh if not set right
    Cheers

hi'ya m8 the recommended heights in my mars book are

    germination 24-30"
    seedling 24"
    veg 18-24"
    flower 12-18"

at the minute my lights aren't on m8
i have tried to grow a few with this light m8 but because of my height i could only hang it from 23 and half inch and that seemed ok but as i said i messed the plants up lol, and i don't know crap about growing hence the main man mentoring me, but to be honest 2 died coz they had helmets left on the seed but my other 2 did get to 21 days and 28 days so i think they got through the seedling stage ok

i've got some pics and can upload them so you can have a look at them if you want the quality isn't great but could give you an idea
    cheers
