I've grown in Promix for 30 years or more and have had great success with it and ZERO problems. Hydro is great, but it is complex and can go wrong very quickly Promix in 5-6 gallon buckets will work very well and reliably wwth a very small chance of error. I'm not being a smart ass, I just know how simple and easy this way is, and very inexpensive. Once you hone your growing skills, you coul branch off to hydro with a lot more confidence. If you consider this method, feel free to contact me for any info I might be able to add. I know another fellow in Ontario that uses t after years of other methods and he is very pleased with the results. It's boring, since you just mostly sit and watch them grow.
