Default White Leaf Speckles (not powdery or Mildew)

    Hi Friends,
My outdoor plant has changed from a lighter green to a darker green and leaves are showing speckles. Seems to be consistent with our winter season here.
The white speckles aren't powdery and cannot be removed like mildew, It seems inherent in the leaves, Ive attached some pictures.
I'm wondering what could be the cause of this and whether my produce will still be "safe" for consumption.
    Your advice will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    PoximoZA

Hello and welcome to the forum ProximoZA, nice to have you here

At first glance it looks like insect/pest damage..spider mites type of damage, but can't be 100% sure on that, I'll ponder on it a while.

Ravaged by Thrips by the look of things

A good general purpose fruit & veg bug spray will sort things out when in veg but be careful in flower....

One teaspoon of Epson salt to one gallon of water, and A good spray with some need oil should fix you up. JMO
