    Default Sprouted but not growing

Started 5 seeds on the same day. 4 have pushed up through the soil today but the 5th one I could see had popped but ut doesn't appear to be doing much. Can they kick the bucket randomly?

To think I'm quite an experienced gardener in all things plant but I've never had seeds cost so much so haven't ever watched one with baited breath like this before ????

Yes seeds for whatever reason can fail with bad genetics or just old seeds or just take time to get used to your medium
Just like human babies some seeds can be slower to develop
Give it time you never know

Yeah it's still being kept warm and moist, survival if the fittest I guess.

This is quite common. Some seeds can have bad genetics and start grow randomly... You can make a test with the next seeds before growing. Get a glass full of water and place the seeds on the surface. If the seeds start to plunge and dive to the bottom - they are healthy. If they keep themselves on the surface of the water, they are of bad quality

That makes all my seeds bad quality as they never immediately sink when dropped into water

Bar that, I agree, that's why people keep mothers when they get an exceptional plant

Same, I've personally never had my seeds sink to the bottom straight away..need a good 4-8 hours, sometimes more before they do which is my tell-tale sign to take them out the water.
