Decided to add some nutrients to my rhizotonic solution as I have the feeling this still can't be nutrient burn. Went with 1/4 strength to see if that stops some of the yellowing/dying. Watered a few days back, posting this for reference to look at later really. If the two big leaves have gotten worse by the next watering I might add another 1/4 strength to try half and see if that helps. Doesn't seem to have made anything worse anyway and it is my seedling solution so low PPM.

It was funny, as soon as I chopped her top off the two top leaves shot up in the air like she was running around screaming haha. I guess it was just to get some better light angles but I like to imagine... New growth coming along nicely.

Plan to do a long test of my flood drain system this weekend. It seems like a good way to soak the clay pebbles in a PH'd solution too. It shouldn't matter if I don't plant into them for a month or two yet?

Hi. Just had a quick read through your diary and im not even going to pretend I understand what nutes you are using but from my angle, she looks nute burnt to buggery....How old is she? I grow mostly auto's in soil and dont use anything but water until at least 4 weeks in. Is she an auto or photo? Ph seems to be an issue for you too but again, that's not something Ive ever had to flaff about with growing in soil and has never been an issue so cant really comment about that but you said she hasnt been watered in 2 weeks? Again,i cant really understand, at this stage i only ever water around the plant very lightly every couple of days. Anyways, hope she pulls through..

Popped her head up just over 4 weeks ago. Photo G13 Haze from Barney's Farm

I over watered far too much in the beginning so took nearly 2 weeks to dry out. Still not sure on the PH, been retesting and starts at 7.5 then goes to 8.1 after sitting for 24 hours. If soil is a ph buffer then I don't think it's too much of a problem here.

For the first 4 weeks I was using water with Canna Rhizotonic added. Only had the first taste of nutrients a few days back. Don't think the soil is too much as the B&Q verve mix is meant to be OK. The leaves seem to be fine for a week and then slowly go yellow. I am not too worried about her dying, just want her to have a happier life.

Temps are 22-25c and RH 65%

The nutrients I made up has an NPK ratio around 1:1:2 Potassium is a little high but that's all I could get. Wanted a weak 1:1:1 solution.

Here is a side by side comparison 3 days on, the big leaves have shrivelled a bit and gone slightly more yellow. I mean the topping went well but still sad about the old growth dying.

Needs a water either tonight or tomorrow and debating if I should try half strength nutrients. Should see what ec my solution is now but I think it's still pretty low.

Watered a few days ago, decided to go with half strength nutrients. Seems to have enjoyed it I think, or maybe she was going to have a growth spurt anyway. Added back in the CFL yesterday to try and keep the canopy flatter and give some more light.

Decided to repot today as I could see roots at the bottom of the pot. Didn't think it through too much as then the bastard didn't fit. Had my first try at supercropping. Seemed vaguely successful.

Still having a few height issues, keep finding her touching the lights. Decided to tie her down to help. I had hoped to stick in the LED board but that will be a few days yet. Not much happening after the repot and supercrop but I am not surprised.

Taken about a week to get over the repot and supercrop. Not too bad, starting to get some new growth actually growing (Actually looking back now she is a lot bigger than last week!)

Still been watering with my seedling solution at 50%. Had a good 500ml water at the repot and another 300ml yesterday so getting much thirstier.

Seeing how close I can get to these LED's. I did read the ones I am using are intended to be as close as possible to the plant. Hopefully take some cuttings mid to end of September and have a go at hydro. It will be interesting to compare the COB setup I have vs the new board. Never even tried the COBs yet

Went for a bit more training today, Hopefully let the new side growth catch up with the top height. I am thinking it is better to take clones from there? or the top? or it doesn't really matter?

Tried the flash with the photo, still looks weird, just different weird. Guess that's just the lights.

Been experimenting with dimming the driver. Tried to measure the amps but I kept just making a spark and fusing the driver. Luckily it still works.

Can't remember if I already broke this multimeter testing amps so that's why it's just a short. Probably

At 26 volts the board/LED's don't even get hot, 30v I would say about 40-50c maybe a warm bath. The full 36v 1.6A I would say 80-90c so still usable but a bit hot. Only designed it to run at 1A. Left it at 26v to see how she grows.
