Had another water yesterday, starting to think I should up my nutrients as still some yellowing. Still, I shouldn't use too much maybe as it's only a mother plant. Going to try full strength seedling solution next water.

Still amazing how I can chop and bend the plant and it comes back fighting.

I think we have a contender for first clone. Increased the voltage on the board to 30.5v as the temps are getting close to 20c so want to warm it up a little.

Wow,glad to see you managed to pull her through! I'd keep an eye on the Nitrogen levels though as it looks like some of the tips are starting to claw a little.

Project has been on hold a little as it needs to go into stealth mode this weekend. After that I will be taking some clones.

Been over a week since the last update. She was looking a little sad but gave her a few waters with full strength nutrients and see seemed to thrive on it. Looking much happier. Still some leaves dying but meh, maybe it't just self pruning as the pot isn't too big.

Had a slight issue with condensation with having the LED on low so needed to turn it up to increase the temperature. Running at about 31v now and solved the problem. Won't be an issue once I can run the extraction.

So she has started flowering from stealth mode I think. Didn't want a cable running to the cupboard so the light cycle was a bit odd. I think it went On 18, off 6, on 6, off 6, on 12, off 3, on 24 then back to normal. I thought I might get away with it but doesn't seem so. Been back on 18/6 for a few days now. Hard to get a good photo with my phone.

Anybody think it will be much of an issue being a mother plant? Need to take some clones asap but don't have time until the weekend. Tops are a cm or so from the light.

I'd double up on this comment by Jumper also mate, looks classic nute burn from the nutes in the soil? Hopefully when roots stretch out she will grow fine.

Looks like you have a bit of Ndef goin on mate, the skirt leaves have sent all their umph to the newer growth. A little bit of grow nutes should help.

edit - Another thing for leaf drop like this is lack of light

Thanks Smoby, I don't think the light is that low. Can't find my calculations now for what the board is but I remember it is somewhere in the middle par range. Not actually measured what it's outputting though but being high in reds I think the lower canopy should be OK.

I think it may be N def but the problem didn't seem to change when I repotted into fresh soil. I have just upped the nute solution to double strength, need to order some new scales as I broke the old ones so I can measure up some flower nutes.

Decided (being lazy) to just flower this one. Also the space seems a bit too small for me, I know it is possible to grow 4 plants in there from reading some threads on here but I decided to remove the shelf for now while I finish off this lady. Went to 12/12 properly a few days ago but with the mess up in stealth mode I don't know when to call it 'flowering' but I think she is stretching already.

Still some yellow leaves but doesn't seem to be progressing as much. Using double strength of my seedling solution atm. Going to order scales this week so I can mix up some flowering solution. Some little buds starting to develop. It's interesting how the node growth was pretty straight in veg and now really angular in flower.

    Board still working

Just had a nice read through. My last water source was similar to yours. 7.2 out of the tap. 8.4 after it sat for 24 hours.

While most disagree with me, my grows were all better when I PH'd the water and or feed.

For plain water, I found that just a few drops of grow nutes would reduce the PH to 6.0. I used grow instead of PH down. For heavy feeds, the nutes reduce my PH to 4. I used PH UP to get it back to 6.
